Jaclyn Freedman is a marketing executive, strategist, writer, and speaker based in Arizona.
For nearly two decades, she's helped companies grow through smart marketing. She builds marketing from scratch for early-stage startups and helps established firms rethink how marketing drives revenue. She blends strategy, sales, operations, and tech to lead teams through the kind of change that shows up on the P&L.
Today, Jaclyn works as a fractional CMO and consultant. Her favorite gigs put her in charge of the full funnel: demand gen, brand, content, partnerships, product marketing, and go-to-market strategy.
Before that, she was Head of Marketing at Peerlogic and built the demand gen function at SmartRent (NYSE: SMRT), winning a Stevie Award along the way. Her experience spans SaaS, AI, enterprise tech, proptech, healthcare, and professional services. Earlier, she cut her teeth at marketing agencies, including Vertical Measures, Gannett | USA TODAY Network, and NarrativeWave, starting as a content marketer before content marketing was even a thing.
Outside of work, Jaclyn writes about marketing, leadership, and the messy human side of building a career to thousands of readers on LinkedIn and Substack.
She lives in Scottsdale with her husband, two kids, and three rescue dogs. She gardens, camps, reads, and writes, usually all at once.
