Hello!

Jaclyn Freedman is a marketing executive, strategist, writer, and speaker based in Arizona.

For nearly two decades, she has helped B2B companies navigate growth—from early-stage startups building their first marketing function to established organizations rethinking how marketing contributes to revenue. Throughout her career, she's worked at the intersection of strategy, creativity, operations, and technology, leading organizations through periods of rapid growth and transformation.

Most recently, Jaclyn has led marketing organizations responsible for demand generation, brand, content, partnerships, product marketing, and go-to-market strategy. Her experience spans SaaS, AI, enterprise technology, proptech, healthcare, and professional services, with a focus on building marketing organizations that create long-term business value rather than short-term activity.

Prior to her current role, Jaclyn served as Head of Marketing at Peerlogic, where she led the company's marketing strategy and helped align sales and marketing around sustainable pipeline growth. Before that, she built the demand generation function at SmartRent (NYSE: SMRT), transforming marketing into a measurable revenue engine while overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets and enterprise growth initiatives. Her work there was recognized with a Stevie Award for Best Marketing Campaign.

Earlier in her career, she worked across agency, publishing, and enterprise software, holding roles at Vertical Measures, Gannett | USA TODAY Network, and NarrativeWave. She began as a content marketer long before content marketing became standard practice—a foundation that continues to shape how she approaches communication today. Behind every campaign, dashboard, and AI workflow is still the same question: How can we become a long-term resource?

Outside of her executive work, Jaclyn writes about marketing, leadership, creativity, and the complicated, often deeply human realities of building a career. Her essays explore the intersection of work and life—from AI and organizational strategy to ambition, grief, identity, and the stories we tell ourselves along the way.

Her writing has attracted thousands of readers across LinkedIn and Substack, where she shares both practical lessons from the field and personal reflections from nearly twenty years spent inside growing companies.

Jaclyn lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with her husband, their two children, and three rescue dogs. Outside of work, you can find her gardening, camping, reading, or writing.

She genuinely believes the best marketing—and the best careers—are built with curiosity, passion, and an eagerness to keep learning.
